The Aspen Acres Fire burning in Pueblo and Custer counties remains at nearly 67,000 acres and zero containment Friday morning.
The Pocket Fire, burning in rugged terrain, grew slightly to 23,451 acres but containment increased to 25% as of the morning of July 3.
A fifth-alarm fire tore through the Wooster Township Econo Lodge hotel early on July 1, officials said.
Because of the terrain, the most challenging part of the fire needs a heavy monsoon to fully put it out.
