The Chicago area has been in a bit of a cool weather spell lately, but that’s going to change in a massive way next week.

Today Chicago will have mostly sunny skies with highs for most in the low to mid 70s, cooler lakeside.

Scientists at the University of Chicago are working on AI trained to model weather which could help create better, more accurate forecasts.

Another quiet day of weather around the area, which has been great for those still dealing with storm clean-up from the past couple of weeks. Additionally, this has allowed more surveys to be completed by the National Weather Service.
